OUR STORY
TWO GENERATIONS. ONE STANDARD.
Since 1979, the Burke name has stood for uncompromised craftsmanship, straight talk and a deep commitment to the people we build for.
FOUNDED IN 1979
BUILT ON TRUST. HANDED DOWN THROUGH GENERATIONS.
Gary Burke started Burke’s in 1979 as a fire and water restoration company, on call around the clock for families across the GTA. Showing up fast, telling homeowners the truth and doing the job right earned the company its reputation — and its name.
Over four decades, the same crews, equipment and know-how that rebuilt damaged homes began building new ones. Today Burke’s is a full general contractor focused on custom homes and in-house excavation and demolition across York-Simcoe and the GTA, with restoration still part of what we do.
Gary now leads the company alongside his son Greg, bringing two generations of hands-on expertise to every project. One of them is personally involved on every job — from the first site walk to the final handshake.
“WE DON’T JUST BUILD TO WITHSTAND THE ELEMENTS. WE BUILD RELATIONSHIPS DESIGNED TO LAST.”
— GARY & GREG BURKE
