HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use personal information to respond to enquiries and provide quotes; plan, deliver and manage our services; communicate with you about your project, scheduling and warranty matters; coordinate with insurers, Tarion, municipalities and other parties involved in your project where required; review job applications and contact applicants; process payments and keep business records; improve our website and services; and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site. We may use third-party analytics services that collect information in aggregate form.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We require third parties who receive personal information from us to protect it and use it only for the purposes for which it was provided.

WEBSITE FORMS AND FILE STORAGE

Our website is built and hosted on Framer. When you submit our contact or careers form, Framer receives the information you enter and sends it to us by email.

Résumés and other files uploaded through our careers form are stored by Uploadcare, a third-party file storage service, and shared with us through a secure link. We use these files only to review your application.

These service providers may store and process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. While it is held there, it is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessed by their courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.

DATA RETENTION

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for warranty, legal, accounting and record-keeping requirements. If you apply for a job, we keep your application and résumé only as long as needed to review it and consider you for suitable openings, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. When information is no longer needed, we securely destroy or anonymize it.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use or disclosure. While we take these precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
